Under the responsibility of the Shopping Center Director, the technical maintenance technician for buildings is responsible for the maintenance and proper functioning of Place Longueuil.

  • Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of various systems (electricity, heating, plumbing, piping, air conditioning, ventilation, fire protection), maintain HVAC, plumbing, security, and electrical systems;
  • Analyze and adjust these various systems and ensure their compliance with building codes;
  • Perform general maintenance such as carpentry, minor repairs, or other more or less complex tasks;
  • Respond to calls made by the dispatcher, such as: discomfort due to temperature, water infiltration, ventilation noise, ballast, tripped circuit breaker, defective power outlet, etc.;
  • Repair and maintain buildings, sanitary facilities, and perform simple mechanics daily;
  • Perform preventive maintenance according to the established schedule;
  • Coordinate certain work performed by workers;
  • Implement the procedures and work methods established by the building;
  • Be available at all times for emergencies;
  • Execute all other related tasks;

Qualifications:

  • Hold at least a high school diploma;
  • Professional diploma in building maintenance is an asset;
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar job;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French;
